About Javier Delgado



Javier Delgado has been INROADS de México’s Managing Director since 1999. At this non-profit organization, he has been able to structure and grow a Talent Development Program aimed at university students with leadership potential, commitment and high academic performance, from low socioeconomic background. Its goal is to promote these young students’ upward social mobility, based on their work, education, talent and leadership, whereon they build a platform which allows them to obtain a successful personal and professional development.

Previously, Mr. Delgado, worked for 15 years in marketing and commercialization areas at leading companies of the financial sector and at the advertising industry, within multinational advertising agencies in Mexico.

Mr. Delgado holds a BA in Fine Arts from Seattle University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1978. Later, he earned a Master of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin, a degree in Marketing from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), the Business Management D-1 Program, from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE), and several update business courses from this same institution. In 2013, he earned a degree in Fundraising from the non-profit institution Procura, A.C., a Program recognized by the University of Indiana.

Back in the 1980’s, Mr. Delgado was professor at the Universidad Anáhuac del Norte in Mexico City and a speaker at the School of Communication of Gonzaga University at Spokane, Washington.

He is married and lives in Mexico City with his wife, son and daughter.
