About Enrique Díaz-Infante Chapa
Enrique Díaz-Infante Chapa is the Director of Financial Sector and Social Security at CEEY.
His fields of research include the performance of the financial system, financial inclusion (SME and pension funds), and microfinance.
He is a Lawyer (National Autonomous University of Mexico- UNAM , 1994), with master degrees in Comparative Politics and in Social Policy and Planning in Developing Countries (London School of Economics and Political Science, 1996-97 and 2002-03, respectively). He currently is a PhD Candidate in Law at the Institute of Law Research at UNAM.
He has taught Financial Law at UNAM, Pan-American University (UP), CIDE and ITAM.
He is the author of “Regulación Financiera y Competencia Económica” (2008), published by ITAM and the Mexican Senate. He has published more than 60 opinion articles in different newspapers. Currently he is publishing at Reforma newspaper once a month.
Before joining CEEY he has worked at Bancomext, FIDELIQ, SAE, IPAB and Banrural.
